The campsite itself is adult’s only & has a lovely heated pool too! It is part of the tranquil parks group and was voted “best couple’s campsite” in 2019 with plenty of walks and cycle routes. Remember you can hire Dinky’s bike rack for an additional £25 for your whole hire.

You can walk, cycle or run around the water & even enjoy some water sports too! The aqua park is so much fun. Check out availability and opening times at https://www.aquaparkgroup.co.uk/rutland/.

The House is open Wednesday to Sunday from 5th August & the gardens are open daily. For more information on any events, visit www.burghley.co.uk.
  • Why not tie in a visit to Stamford whilst at Burghley house? In 2013 it was rated the best place to live in a survey by The Sunday Times! We love walking around the cobble streets, wandering in & out of the shops, bars & restaurants. It also has a buzzing night life with many different places to have drinks or food. It is only a 30 minute drive from the campsite so what’s stopping you?
  • Fineshade wood is a great day out. Whether you want to have a leisurely wander through the trees, hop on your bike or have a play in the play areas, Fineshade Wood is bursting with opportunities to explore the great outdoors!
  • Gates garden centre is just a 10 minute drive from the campsite & is great for rainy days! it offers a huge range of plants and garden products. find everything from garden tools and pots to patio furniture, water features, clothing, homeware and pet care – there’s something for everyone. There’s also a large, well-stocked farm shop with local produce. We highly recommend the samosa’s!
